EPC - Legal Compliance

Since 2008, it has been a Government requirement that all properties sold or let must be marketed with an existing EPC. Our qualified Domestic Energy Assessors provide ratings on a scale from A to G.

What an EPC Reveals

Energy Performance Certificates are produced by qualified Domestic Energy Assessors. The assessment will provide details of the properties current efficiency, running costs and existing structural and heating components. Further advice and measures are highlighted that may be installed to improve the efficiency of a home.

The efficient will be rated on a scale from A-G, A being the most efficient.

Government Regulation states that all rental properties require a rating of E and above, before being let to tenants.
